What Visitor Sign-In Software Does.

Visitor sign-in software records who came onto your site, when, and what they were shown. ComplyFlow signs visitors in by QR code or kiosk, tells their host, and lists them beside staff and contractors.

  • The visitor signs themselves in. They scan the QR code with their own phone or tap their mobile number into the kiosk. If they have been before, their details pre-fill.
  • They see what you need them to see. A visitor induction if you set one, the conditions of entry ticked one by one, the site’s hazards. Nothing proceeds until every box is ticked.
  • Their host knows they have arrived. The visitor picks who they are here to see; that person gets a text and an email with the visitor’s name, company, and mobile.
  • They are on the same list as everyone else. Visitors appear on the live list and the map beside staff and contractors, so the roll call and the SMS in an evacuation include them.

Questions People Ask About Visitor Sign-In Before a Demo.

Do visitors need to download an app or create an account?

No. They scan the QR code at the door with their phone camera and the sign-in opens in their browser, or they use the kiosk tablet on the counter. Staff and contractors can use the Live Access app; visitors never need to.

What hardware does the kiosk need?

A dedicated iPad or Android tablet, locked to the location’s sign-in link with Guided Access or screen pinning, on a stand at the counter. The Help Centre has the set-up guide for both.

How does the host find out?

The visitor picks who they are here to see from a type-ahead list of the staff at that site. That person gets an SMS, if they have a mobile on file, and an email with the visitor’s name, company, and mobile, and a link back to the Live Access dashboard.

Can we make visitors read our rules first?

Yes. A sign-in point can run a visitor induction and a confirmation set of conditions of entry; every box must be ticked before the sign-in completes, and the ticks are logged in the book. Site documents such as evacuation diagrams are shown to staff and contractors; visitors see the conditions and the induction.

Can we stop visitors signing in at certain doors?

Yes. Block Visitor Sign-in is a setting on each sign-in point, so reception welcomes visitors while a plant-room or switchroom point refuses them. SMS verification for visitors is also per point.

What happens in an evacuation?

Visitors are on the same live list as staff and contractors, so the list is the roll call and one SMS from the dashboard reaches everyone signed in at that site. A supervisor can sign people out from their own phone once they are accounted for.
