How does buying this software sit against our Local Government Act procurement rules?

ComplyFlow is bought directly as a software subscription. If your council needs to run it through a state Local Government Procurement panel, a prescribed-body arrangement, or your own tender process, tell us at the demo and we will work through your procurement pathway with you rather than assume one fits.

Is our data held in Australia or New Zealand, and can we be kept separate from other councils on the platform?

ComplyFlow hosts data on AWS in Australia and is ISO 27001 certified. It is not held in New Zealand, so if your council needs data held there, raise it with us before the demo and we will tell you plainly whether that is a fit. Each council’s record is kept separate from every other council on the platform. Your staff log in with Microsoft or Okta single sign-on, so there are no new passwords to manage.

Can it handle hundreds of small, often unmanned sites, not one or two manned gates?

Yes. A QR code at the depot gate, the park, or the pump station fence works around the clock on a phone. It checks the contractor’s or volunteer’s induction, licence, and insurance on the spot, whether or not anyone is stationed there.

Does it cover volunteers as well as paid contractors, including working with children checks for community programs?

Yes. A volunteer registers the same way a contractor does, and a working with children check is held and tracked as a document against their record, the same way an insurance certificate or a trade licence is.

Can requirements differ by asset type, a pump station’s confined-space induction against a park’s tree-work permit, within one contractor record?

Yes. Requirements sit at the shire level with extras per site or per asset type, so a pump station can ask for more than an open reserve without a separate system for each.

Does it integrate with our ERP and asset systems?

It connects through an open API, so a council running TechnologyOne OneCouncil, Civica Authority or Altitude, Infor Pathway, Assetic, or Civica Reflect can keep those systems and pass compliance status between them.
