What Site Access Software Does.

Site access software decides who may enter and records that they did. ComplyFlow checks induction, licences, and permits at the scan, shows who is on site now, and keeps the sign-in book.

  • Every gate is a sign-in point you define. Name it, draw the geofence, generate the QR code, decide what visitors may do there and which induction runs before entry.
  • The check happens before the door opens. Induction, licence, insurance, and permit read against the person’s record at scan. Anyone short is flagged on the spot, and the site rules they viewed are logged.
  • Whoever is inside, you can see them. Map, list, and sign-in book. Filter by site, company, or status, send an SMS to everyone on site, sign people out, export the book.
  • Lone Workers are watched, and an alarm is heard. A Worker alone sets their time on site; the supervisor is alerted if they overrun or go quiet, and the Emergency button raises a distress alarm.

The Gate, as You Define It.

A sign-in point is a name, a geofence drawn on the address, a QR code for the post, and a set of switches: which induction runs, which conditions of entry are ticked, which documents are shown, whether visitors may sign in and how they are verified.

The Worker Who Is Alone.

A lone Worker signs in as the only person on site and sets their estimated time on site. If they overrun it or stop responding, the area supervisor is alerted. The Emergency button raises a distress alarm that lands on the map and the list with the location.

Questions People Ask About Site Access Before a Demo.

What do people actually scan with?

Their own phone camera, on a QR code printed for the sign-in point. Staff and contractors can also use the Live Access app on iOS or Android, and a site can put a dedicated tablet at reception as a kiosk. No special hardware is needed to start.

Does the gate stop somebody, or just record them?

It checks. At the scan the person’s induction, licences, insurance, and permit are read against their record; anyone who is short is flagged on the spot and on the live list. Physical barriers are not part of the product.

Can visitors sign in without an account?

Yes. A visitor scans the QR code or uses the kiosk, enters their mobile number, and completes the induction and conditions of entry you have set for visitors at that point. SMS verification can be required. Site documents are for staff and contractors only.

What is in the sign-in book?

Every sign-in and sign-out for the life of the site, who signed in, when, where, which induction they completed, which conditions of entry they ticked, and which site documents were displayed. It exports as a PDF, and the founders describe it as where your legal recourse lives.

How does the lone Worker feature work?

Once enabled for the account, a Worker signing in as the only person on site sets their estimated time on site. If they exceed it or do not respond to a check, the area supervisor is notified, and the Emergency button in the app raises a distress alarm with the location on the map and the list.

Can our security system or reporting read the sign-in data?

Yes. The REST API returns the sign-in book by project, and the same data is available through MCP to ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot, so a supervisor can ask who is on site in plain English.
