Can it tell the difference between a company’s network accreditation and an individual Worker’s electrical licence?

Yes. The company’s accreditation and the Worker’s licence are two records, kept apart and checked together. A contractor can hold a current accreditation while one of its Workers holds an expired licence, and the record shows both.

Does it connect to our asset system and our GIS, or is it a separate record we keep in sync by hand?

It connects through an open API. Your asset system and your GIS raise or locate the work; ComplyFlow checks that the contractor turning up to do it is accredited, licensed, and cleared, and the two stay in step through the API.

Can a switching or access permit be raised and closed out from the field, including after hours and with no signal?

Yes. The permit is raised on a phone, offline where there is no signal and synced once there is, routed to the area supervisor or the authoriser your permit type names, and closed with a time-stamped record.

How does it handle confined space entries into a sewer or a reservoir, and gas work permits specifically?

Confined space entry and gas work are their own permit types. The competency each requires, gas test atmosphere or confined space entry, is checked against the permit before it opens, not lumped in with a generic high-risk work permit.

What happens when a contractor’s accreditation, licence, or insurance lapses mid-job?

The contractor and the Worker are reminded before it lapses. On the day it expires the record is no longer cleared, the depot flags it at the next sign-in, and the contractor is blocked from the next callout until it is renewed and approved again.
