ComplyFlow's Support Team at the Siargao International Marathon
Members of ComplyFlow's support team in the Philippines ran the Siargao International Marathon in 2019, while colleagues in Sydney trained for the City2Surf. The marathon was held on 13 July 2019 at Del Carmen in the Siargao Islands, organised by RunRio, with 5 km, 21 km and 42 km distances. This is a team note from the year it happened, and there is nothing more to it than that.

While the Sydney team were training for the City2Surf, several of our support team in the Philippines were training for the Siargao International Marathon. They ran it, and we said well done.
That is the whole of it. ComplyFlow runs a support team in the Philippines alongside the team in Sydney, and this was one weekend of theirs.
It is worth saying who that team is, because most customers deal with them and never see a name. They are the people who answer a ticket when a contractor cannot upload a licence at seven in the morning, and they write most of what is in our Help Centre. The race was in July and the post went up in November, which tells you roughly how high a priority marketing was that year.
About the Siargao International Marathon.
The Siargao International Marathon 2019 was held on 13 July 2019 at Del Carmen in the Siargao Islands, organised by RunRio, over three distances: 5 km, 21 km and 42 km, with gun starts staggered from 5am.1
Siargao sits in the Surigao del Norte province in the south of the Philippines, and the event is run as a destination race rather than a city one. Entry was PHP 2,200 for the marathon, PHP 1,800 for the half and PHP 800 for the 5 km, which at the time was roughly AU$60, AU$49 and AU$22.1
About the City2Surf.
The City2Surf is a 14 km run from Sydney’s central business district to Bondi Beach, which its organiser describes as the world’s largest fun run.2 It is the one Sydney event a great many people who never otherwise run will enter, which is why half an office ends up training for it at once.
